Like all the major players in the German automotive industry, ZF Friedrichshafen (€38.3 billion turnover in 2021), the world’s leading supplier of transmission and chassis technology, is overhauling its operations as it grapples with the transition to electro-mobility. From 2035 onwards, car manufacturers will no longer be able to sell new cars with combustion engines in the European Union. ZF Friedrichshafen provides training on electric mobility to thousands of employees with E-Cademy project
Amid a radical transformation process accompanying the shift from combustion engine cars to electric vehicles, German car parts manufacturer ZF Friedrichshafen launched the "largest internal training plan" in the company's history in September 2021. Dubbed E-Cademy, the programme – recently the recipient of an award – aims to equip all employees with the knowledge and skills required for the jobs of tomorrow, thereby helping them preserve their employability.
