4. Cookies and Other Trackers
When browsing the Site, information may be stored in “Cookies” installed on your computer, tablet, or mobile phone.
The information below explains what a Cookie is, its purpose, and how it can be configured.
4.1 What is a Cookie?
A Cookie is a text file placed in a dedicated area of your device’s hard drive (computer, tablet, mobile phone, or any other Internet-enabled device) when you view online content or advertisements.
This Cookie file can only be read by its issuer. During its validity period, it enables the issuer to recognize the relevant device each time it accesses digital content containing Cookies from the same issuer.
The Cookie does not personally identify You, but rather the browser on your device.
4.2 What are Cookies used for?
Four types of Cookies, serving the purposes described below, may be stored on your device during your visit to the Site:
4.2.1 Technical Cookies
These are necessary for browsing the Site and accessing its various products and services.
Technical Cookies in particular allow us to recognize You, indicate your visit to a given page, and improve the user experience: adapting the Site’s display to your device preferences (language, display resolution), storing passwords and other information related to a form you have filled out on the Site (such as registration or member-area access).
They also allow for the implementation of security measures (for example, prompting you to log in again after a period of inactivity).
These Cookies cannot be disabled or configured without preventing access to the Site and/or its services.
4.2.2 Audience Measurement Cookies
These Cookies are issued by Mind or by our technical service providers for the purpose of measuring the audience of the various Content and sections of the Site, in order to assess and better organize them.
They also help detect browsing problems and consequently improve the ergonomics of our services.
These Cookies produce only anonymous statistics and traffic volumes, excluding any individual information.
The lifespan of these audience measurement Cookies does not exceed thirteen (13) months.
4.2.3 Advertising Cookies
The services offered by Mind on the Site are accessible by subscription and/or through the purchase of Credits.
The Site does not include advertising tags or platforms.
In general, advertising Cookies are issued by partner advertising agencies in the advertising spaces of other sites, the operation of such spaces helping to fund the content and services that we make available to you free of charge.
4.2.4 “Social Media” Cookies
These allow you to share content from our Site with others or to let those others know about your consultation or opinion of Site Content.
This includes “share” or “like” buttons from social networks such as Facebook or Twitter.
The social network providing such a button may identify You via the button, even if you have not used it while visiting our Site.
Mind invites You to consult the privacy policies of these social networks to learn about the purposes, particularly advertising-related, for which they may collect browsing information via these buttons.
The lifespan of these Cookies does not exceed thirteen (13) months.
4.2.5 Editorial Targeting Cookies
Mind may use technologies provided by third-party service providers or partners to display targeted content.
This targeting uses Cookies to pseudonymously collect your browsing habits and editorial preferences to offer relevant content selections.
These technologies are not used for advertising purposes but may sometimes be mistakenly identified as such.
Example of a partner used on the Site: Ownpage.fr.
4.3 Your Choices Regarding Cookies
By using the Site, You consent to the use of the aforementioned Cookies.
However, You may choose at any time to disable some or all of these Cookies, except for the technical Cookies necessary for the operation of the Site as stated above.
Your browser can also be configured to notify You when Cookies are placed on your device and to ask whether You wish to accept them.
4.3.1 Refusing a Cookie via Your Browser
You can choose to disable some or all Cookies at any time.
Your browser can also be configured to notify You when Cookies are placed on your device and ask whether to accept them (individually or all at once).
Please note, however, that disabling all Cookies will prevent You from using our Site under normal conditions, except for basic functions.

Each User’s personal account allows them to update their own personal data.

Penalties for unlawful system access, obstruction, or fraudulent data alteration as per Articles 323-1 et seq. of the French Penal Code include up to five (5) years’ imprisonment and a fine of €150,000.
7. Termination
Mind reserves the right to suspend access to or terminate a User’s account without notice or compensation in cases including but not limited to:
unlawful use of the Site;
infringement of Mind’s or third parties’ intellectual property rights;

any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
In the event of termination, the User’s account will be closed, and they will no longer have access to the Site.
8. Warranties – Liability
Mind provides no warranties regarding uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Site.
Users acknowledge the inherent risks of Internet transmissions.
If any financial liability is imposed on Mind for any reason, the Parties expressly agree that such liability shall not exceed the amount of the most recent purchase of Credits preceding the event giving rise to the liability.
Claims must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Miscellaneous Provisions
9.1 Amendments: Mind may modify these Terms and Conditions and will require renewed acceptance by the User upon subsequent access.

9.3 Waiver: Failure by either Party to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right.
9.4 Evidence: Electronic records maintained by Mind shall constitute proof of transactions and communications.
9.5 Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in force, and the invalid provision shall be replaced by one as close as possible in intent and effect.
