Following inspections at Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport on Friday November 6, 2025 on 200,000 Shein parcels “8 out of 10 items have proved non-compliant so far”, the French Ministry of the Economy said on November 8. This inspection led by French customs alongside the fraud authority (DGCCRF) aims to verify product compliance, the accuracy of declarations and compliance with tax and customs obligations. The report included “unauthorised cosmetics dangerous toys and faulty household appliances”
