Carrefour confirmed Alexandre Bombard, Former C.E.O. of Fnac-Darty Group, as successor to Georges Plassat.According to Edouard Nicolas Dubar, C.E.O. of Headlight International, “Mr. Bompard is a personal contact of Houzé and Arnault. He has driven up Fnac’s stock price by 90% in 3 years. He appears as the ideal person to boost the investment of Directors, despite a lack of international knowledge, especially in China as a major market stake for Carrefour”.
