As last year, the American firm Gartner published a ranking from a sample of 118 companies. These are the brands with the best digital practices in terms of customer service for department stores, specialised distribution, food, financial services, watches, jewellery and hotels.
The criteria included the use of self-service help functions (such as an FAQ page) or assisted services (live chat or live Twitter) on their websites. Among the leaders in this 2020 mapping are MAC Cosmetics
