For Tod’s, more than a third of business comes from China

In the first 9 months of 2021, China generated 36% of sales for the Tod’s shoe retailer. The country is increasingly chasing the heels of Europe, which represents 45% of sales. In China (the area also includes Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau) sales jumped by 80% compared to 2020 and by 45% compared to 2019.

This totals €225 million over the 9-month period (at constant exchange rates). The brand operates 80 fully owned stores in China but is allocating a growing share of budgets
