In June, Howard Schultz, (aged 64) resigned as Chairman of Starbucks. After almost 30 years working for the coffee behemoth (which runs more than 28,000 stores in 77 countries), he is succeeded by Myron Ullman, former C.E.O. of J.C. Penney department stores.
