In France, the 9 June 2023 law aimed at regulating commercial influence and combating the poor behaviour of influencers on social networks established a legal framework for advertising practices. According to a report published on 3 April by the DGCCRF (Direction générale de la concurrence, de la consommation et de la répression des fraudes), 145 of the 310 influencers inspected over the past two years (including 98 in 2022 and 212 in 2023) on Snapchat, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter...
