In March, the French group Auchan Retail launched a mobile payment service called ‘AuchanSpeedy’, developed with Mastercard. It is now available in 2 ‘MyAuchan’ convenience stores in Milan and 7 supermarkets in Brescia, Milan and Turin. Customers register on the app (available for iOS and Android) before scanning products with a smartphone. When the shop is completed, the purchase summary appears in the application.
