The online passwordless authentication solution b.connect has been launched in beta test at 24 clients, including Leroy Merlin, Boulanger, Celio and Courir. The promise is to simplify user login on e-commerce sites and a to promote exemptions from strong authentication at checkout. C.E.O. You launched b.connect in September 2025. What is the status of the deployment?
Five shareholder banks (BNP Paribas, BPCE, Crédit Agricole, Crédit Mutuel and Société Générale each invested €7 million for 20% of the capital, Editor’s note) are all connected to the b.connect platform since the end of October 2025, which means 42 million clients can create a b.connect account.
