Right to repair: Brussels adopts a directive to promote circularity

On April 23, 3 years after the AGEC law in France and in the wake of the CSRD, the European Parliament adopted the directive on the “right to repair“. The objective and products are the same as those of the AGEC law (household appliances). Henceforth, manufacturers will no longer be able to hinder product repairs (contractual clauses, refusal in the event of previous repair by a third party).
