In early February 2018, the Turkish investor Ayka Textile signed a major investment project to develop the textile industry in Burkina Faso, West Africa’s largest cotton producer. The Turkish company run by Yusuf Aydeniz has announced an industrial complex for making clothes in Ouagadougou, the capital city of Burkina Faso. The project, whose total investment amounts to €343 million, will be managed by a mixed company of 55% by the Turkish giant and 45% by the local government.
