According to Patrick Chalhoub, C.E.O. of the Chalhoub Group, luxury sales in the U.A.E. should decrease by 3% in 2017, following a 2% decrease in 2016. At a global level, Bain said that luxury sales should reach €1.16 trillion in 2017 at constant exchange rate, after the uncertainties and geopolitical crisis seen in 2016. This market will benefit from renewed consumer confidence across the Americas, Europe and Asia and the U.S.A.
