Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield see a rise in profits

Paris-based property firm Unibail-Rodamco officially completed the acquisition of Westfield earlier this year. Profits rose by 14.5% to €703 million in the first half year. Furthermore, like-for-like net rental income rose by 4.3% for the half year for shopping centres across continental Europe. The combined estate of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield now includes 104 shopping centres across 13 countries. This is estimated to be worth €58.78 billion, all of which carry the Westfield brand.
