The steel group Arcelor-Mittal (310.000 employees) and three union organizations – the International Metalworkers' Federation (IMF), the European Metalworkers' Federation (EMF) and the American union United Steelworkers (USW) signed, on June 3, 2008 in Luxembourg, a global agreement establishing health and safety committees in all the plants of the group.
