The number of free agents is 50% lower than it was four years ago when the trade union organized its first campaign against working conditions in call centers. Katzian said, at a press conference, that the situation had improved a little but that there was still a lot to be done. A sectoral study presented by the trade union (Arbeiten im Callcenter - Service um jeden Preis? – Working in call centers – service at any cost?) shows that avoidance of laws and collective agreements is still common practice; hence the new campaign.
