BASF and the Catalonian Government (Spain) agree to the first dual training program at the transnational scale

The chemical company BASF and the Catalonian Department of Education (Spain) have just reached an agreement by which students from a Catalonian vocational training school can pursue a dual training program involving significant work experience abroad, at BASF’s headquarters (Ludwigshafen, Germany). To our knowledge, this is the first dual training program with a transnational component to be approved in Spain. The first edition of this program is expected to commence in September 2013. Nearly 20 students from the publicly-run vocational training school Comte de Rius (Tarragona, Spain) will take part in the transnational dual training program deployed by the Catalonian Government and BASF.
