Negotiations were long and tense between the union organizations and COMEOS, the commerce sector’s employers’ federation but ended in agreement on 29 June. Disagreement had centered on the issue of purchasing power. The agreement contains measures on work organization, security inside shops, and time credits.
Workers will receive a 250 € before tax bonus indexed on full time work (bonuses for part time work will be paid pro rata).
Work organization. Non-work weekends for employees will rise from 7 to 8 in shops with at least 5 staff.
