Last-chance agreement. Monday, July 8 was the deadline the Constitutional Court set to end discrimination between blue-collar and white-collar workers. Since they couldn’t agree, in mid-June, they turned to the government and Minister of Employment, Monica de Coninck (sp.a), who then took part in the negotiations that led, after a 30-hour closed-door meeting, to a “historical compromise.”
