After long months of uncertainty (see our story No. 070754), social elections for the introduction and the renewal of works councils and committees for prevention and protection at work will take place from May 5 to May 18, 2008. This election concerns about 6.000 companies, and the introduction or the renewal concerns about 9.000 bodies (3.000 works councils and 6.000 committees for prevention and protection at work). Let us remind that a works council has to be introduced in all the companies
