On May 26, 2016 a new collective agreement for the Tourism branch was signed by the Bulgarian Tourist Chamber (BTC), on behalf of employers, and three trade unions, the National Federation ‘Trade, services, control authorities and tourism’ Podkrepa, and two members of the CITUB confederation, the Trade Union of Tourism in Bulgaria, and The Independent Trade Union Federation of Trade, Cooperatives, Tourism and Services.
As with that signed in 2014, this new collective agreement fixes the minimum conditions for the conclusion and implementation of collective agreements in tourism enterprises, members of BTC. It applies to all employees, members of the union signatories to the agreement that are employed by a BTC member, and to all other employees in those businesses that asked to join the agreement.
