On 17 July, and with a view to securing prompt adoption, the bill aimed at improving work-life balance, which Chile’s President Gabriel Boric announced on 01 June was presented to Congress. The text introduces the right to a hybrid working day (with job security) for employees caring for children aged 12 and under, or for people with severe or moderate dependency needs. The teleworking day can be taken once a week, or split up when the job allows.
