Since 1 January 2023, the 400 employees of Leshi Internet Information & Technology Corp, a video streaming platform founded in 2011, have been able to work a four-and-a-half-day week without any cut to their pay. On Wednesdays, those who so wish only work five consecutive hours, with flexibility as to when they start (for example, 10:00-15:00, 11:00-16:00, etc.).
