The Czech Senate turned down the long-expected new Labor Code which is due to replace the original legislation from the 1960’s. Right-wing senators rejected the draft law. Czech Republic: Senate rejects new Labor code bill
The Czech Senate has voted against the draft law creating a new Labor Code, which was approved by the Chamber of Deputies a few weeks ago. In order for this bill to come into force, it must be passed again by deputies and signed by the President of the Republic. (Réf. 06325)
