Organized, among others, by the FOA, HK and 3F unions, with the support of the National Network for Equal Pay, (Det Nationale Ligelønsnetværk, see our dispatch No. 080226), this campaign provides for different initiatives, including a happening on Tuesday, November 1st, at Copenhagen Central Station, with the silhouettes of women who “left” the labor market, a web-clip campaign where women disappear, leaving the same figures standing next to men, a special website (http://kvindernessidstearbejdsdag.dk) and a Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/KvindernesSidsteArbejdsdag?sk=wall) which has 24,725 friends (50% more than last year).
