The positive results of the quota policy introduced in Norway five years ago get more and more followers in Denmark, especially since few women are on the boards of directors of large Danish undertakings quoted on the stock market; on the other hand, many Danish women were employed for high-responsibility jobs in Norwegian companies. With a total of 30 women and 160 men, the boards of directors of the twenty companies best quoted on the stock market, including A.P. Møller-Mærsk, Carlsberg, Vestas and Lundbeck, are definitely not leaders in terms of equal opportunities.
