A safety culture at work, which advocates day-to-day dialogue between representatives and employees, creates a more secure environment and fewer industrial accidents. This is the conclusion of the research program on "the prevention of severe industrial accidents via a safety culture" (FAIS project), directed by the National Research Center on the Labor World, which published its report at the end of 2008.
