The collective agreements negotiated in the past few months by Danish social partners in the private sector were adopted by almost 56% of the employees who took part in the vote. The participation rate was only 37%. This green light is supposed to guarantee social peace for three years. (Ref. 070391)
Leaders from union organizations had announced that the agreement reached with employers was the best ever reached. In addition to a wage increase, it plans the creation of a fund for permanent training, the payment of a parental leave for fathers, a large amount of flexibility for each company and an increase in pensions contributions (see our story n°070174).
