Denmark: the Labour Department proposed to introduce a central register for foreign companies posting workers

The Labour Secretary, Claus Hjort Frederiksen, proposed to amend the law on the posting of workers in order to incorporate a provision introducing a central register for companies posting workers in Denmark. Authorities could use this information to increase controls on the respect of the rules regulating the labour market and to evaluate the number of posted workers as part of the provision of services.
