Commission adopted a draft regulation on the protection of data which deeply reviews existing rules. Ariane Mole, Partner at the Bird & Bird law firm, has agreed to tell Planet Labor about the changes this draft should bring to industrial relations. The text as is allows harmonizing the rights in the different Member States and facilitates international data transfers in large groups but not without increasing the obligations and penalties businesses are subject to.
