EU: co-legislators reach agreement on ban on imports of products made with forced labour

On Tuesday 5 March, European Parliament and Council negotiators reached agreement on a draft regulation banning the import of products produced using forced labour. The text, which still needs to be definitively adopted by the Parliament and member states – no mean feat –, should lead to the creation of national investigation authorities.
