While the European Commission is hoping for the rapid adoption of its Omnibus package, the co-legislators have already taken up the text. While the executive hopes to maintain a position that it considers to be a balance between competitiveness and maintaining the objectives of the Green Deal, support is growing for both the position trying to mitigate the text and on the contrary, to take it further.
