federation (ETUC) published its reply to the consultation launched by the European Commission in October on passive smoking on the workplace. Unlike BusinessEurope (the employers’ organization – see our dispatch No. 090205), the ETUC is in favor of the adoption of a special directive to prevent risks related to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) on the workplace.
