EU: key points from the draft Directive on transparent and predictible working conditions (infographic)

This future directive will help to enhance the information to be passed on to employees in the early stages of an employment relationship (as regards place or places of work, the right to training, paid leave, notice period for contract terminations, etc.), hence the reference to the notion of transparency in its title. Above all however, it covers the idea of a basic set of minimum rights, geared towards guaranteeing those who work on a flexible basis – with varying working timetables and hours – more predictability and stability. It is this aspect of the directive that we summarise through an infographic.
