The European Commission sent the Austrian government a letter of formal notice in which it requires that it complies with the judgment issued by the court of Justice of the European Communities (CJEC) on September 21, 2006, in which certain Austrian administrative formalities were deemed contrary to the free movement of service. In the case judged on September 21, 2006 (see our dispatch n°06935,) the CJEC ruled that certain administrative requirements imposed to companies temporarily posting workers in Austria were contrary to the free movement of service.
