The European Commission has published, on May 16, 2007, a release entitled "circular migration and partnerships between the EU and third countries", which announces three directive proposals destined to supervise better the status of migrant workers from third countries who want to stay in the European Union. The first directive proposal – which should be adopted by the Commission in September 2007 – concerns the mobility of highly skilled workforce.
