On the occasion of the women's day, the European commission decided to launch a large study on women in the information and communication technology sector (ITC). The proportion of women graduates in ITC in Europe is falling in comparison with other regions of the world, whereas even this sector encounters a skills shortage. Women represent an "untapped potential" and this is what the European Commission is trying to change. (Ref. 070215)
