European deputies adopted, on July 12, 2007, the report on the directive bill amending the 97/67 directive concerning the conclusion of the Community's postal services' interior market. Pushing back to December 31, 2010 – two years – the date of the total opening of the postal services' competition proposed by the European Commission, the report introduces several dispositions strengthening the recognition of social aspects.
