Deputies from the Social Affairs' Commission adopted, on June 25, 2007, the report from the Polish deputy Jacek Protasiewicz (PPE-DE) on the European Commission's Green Book on modernization of labour law. After vivid debates (see our story 070512), the initial planned was deeply revised. Deputies propose to follow the following tracks : strengthen open-ended contracts so it remains the standard form of employment, set criteria to define the worker as opposed to the independent, clarify responsibilities in the subcontracting chain...
