EU: Uni-Europa denounced “the law of the jungle” which will run over the postal sector after its liberalization

The European union federation of the postal sector, Uni-Europa Post, condemned the political agreement which was reached during the Council of Ministers on October 1 on the liberalization of the postal sector. It blamed the governments for going ahead with "total de-regulation in the postal sector by 2011/13 (…) without clear provisions to fund the universal postal service and without secure provisions in the new directive to protect wage dumping".
