EU: Youth Guarantee falls short of initial expectations

A new report from the European Court of Auditors (ECA) examines the progress made in implementing the EU Youth Guarantee.

The European Court of Auditors (ECA) is decidedly underwhelmed by the progress it sees as having been made under the EU Youth Guarantee. After an initial report from the spring of 2015, which criticized the role of the EU Commission, on 04 April the auditors published a fresh analysis in a report, which holds the EU Youth Guarantee as falling short of expectations. The European Trade Union Confederation immediately backed the report.
