FerroAtlantica, whose headquarters are in Spain, operates in the field of electrometallurgy, energy, mining and photovoltaic solar power. The group has production centers in Spain, France, Venezuela, South Africa and China. Therefore, a French/Spanish negotiating body bargained for the agreement signed on February 4. Under Spanish law, this agreement provides that union representatives will take part next to employee representatives and organizes the exchange of information between the European structure and national bodies.
Composition. The central management decided that there could be up to 12 employee representatives in the EWC (6 for each country). 5 union representatives may attend the EWC’s plenary meetings, with a consultative voice. The Select Committee (SC) is made up of 5 members.
