Six trade union organizations, affiliated to the Danish confederation SAK, should fusion before 2010 into a single organization, with almost 330.000 members. They just agreed on a timetable to complete this operation successfully. (Ref. 070650)
The fusion plan between six trade unions affiliated to the Danish confederation SAK, proposed by the latter in April 2007, is becoming a reality. The six unions concerned by the plan are those of the Chemical workers’ Union (47.600 members) Electrical workers’ Union (32.300), Media Union (24,200), Metalworkers’ Union (165,500), Railway Workers’ Union (14,500) and Wood and allied Workers’ Union (45,600).
