Finlande will remove the labour market restrictions to the workers coming from enlargment Member States from 1 May, 2006 on. The Finnish government is preparing a draft law which aims at reinforcing the control of the working conditions and at granting more resources to the relevant services. (Ref. 06127)
The Representatives of the Finnish government, employers and labour representatives have issued a recommendation to the Parliament to allow—starting from May 1— legal employment in the country to workers from enlargement Member States. The government is therefore preparing two new regulations :
- The first one will set up a registration procedure. This new bill will implement the Directive on the rights of EU citizens and their family to move and to reside freely within the Member States...
