Finlande will remove the labour market restrictions to the workers coming from enlargment Member States from 1 May, 2006 on. The Finnish government is preparing a draft law which aims at reinforcing the control of the working conditions and at granting more resources to the relevant services. (Ref. 06127)

The Representatives of the Finnish government, employers and labour representatives have issued a recommendation to the Parliament to allow—starting from May 1— legal employment in the country to workers from enlargement Member States.
