After some irregularities at a subcontractor of the Bouygues Company, the Finnish union of building workers is threatening to launch a strike on the construction site of the EPR atomic reactor built by the consortium managed by the Areva and Siemens groups. (Ref. 080653)
The Finnish construction trade union (Rakennusliitto) announced at the end of August
that it would launch a strike on the site of the EPR reactor (Olkiluoto 3,)
built in Finland by the Areva-Siemens consortium if the social irregularities concerning
the employment of Polish workers by a subcontractor of the Bouygues group,
which operates on the site, are not solved.
