Finland is about to amend the Social Enterprise Act, in force since 2004, supposed to solve the unemployment of people in difficulty but which appeared to be quite inefficient. (Ref. 06815)
Inefficiency of the current law. The social enterprises Act came into effect in January 2004. Its aims at fighting unemployment. According to that text, is regarded as a social enterprise which employs at least 30% of disabled or long-term unemployed persons.
