An agreement concluded between the management of Ford Werke, the German subsidiary of General Motors, and the work's council of the car manufacturer, March 6, 2006, envisages to maintain the number of jobs on two German sites until 2011. (Réf. 06216)

According to the agreement concluded on March 6, 2006 between the management of Ford Werke and the work’s council (Betriebsrat) of the car manufacturer, Ford promises to produce the next generations of Fiesta and Fusion models in Cologne (18000 employees) and to maintain the production of the new Ford Focus in Sarrelouis (6400 employees), thus guaranteeing employment on these two sites until 2011.
