The union organizations and staff representation bodies which went to court asked for the suspension of the consultation procedure as long as the EWC wasn’t informed or consulted in accordance with Directive 94/45. They said that, since the German site of Stöcken was also affected by the restructuring measure, the EWC had to be informed and consulted.
