A set of 26 decrees to implement the five ordinances to reform France’s labour law (for detail, see article n° 10330) were published in the country’s Official Journal before the end of 2017, so that they would become effective from 1 January 2018. President Emmanuel Macron had committed to publishing the implementing texts as soon as possible, to ensure that the reform would come into force quickly. Here we have an overview of the main changes introduced by the reform.
